Needlefish

Slow sinking needlefish in 3 sizes.  Stubby is 5 inch and 1.5 oz., Jr. is 8 inch and 2oz., and Sr. is 10 inch and 3 oz.  Flared tail gives a little wiggle action.  All needles are weighted for long casts.

Quickly became legend on Block Island and surrounding areas these needle have landed many a big  fish.  They have a slow to moderate sink rait with tail downward.  Retrieving the plug slowly will glide right under the surface,while twithing the rod tip every 5 or 10 seconds, or let it drop to the bottom and twitch the rod to imitate a sand eel hatching.  They also can be used on the surface like a pencil popper
